Return HomeI've been building products for over a decade. Here are some I remember (đź‘´) and can freely share from the past 10+ years.
Back in 2010, I worked on an early concept for handling logistics for the US Federal Reserve. Think tracking your Uber but for those big security vans with strict route compliance and cargo security—all managed from a secure central location.
In 2010, I led one of the first framework designs for Mercedes franchises on the East Coast, helping them launch or improve their websites to meet the Mercedes brand standard. Before design systems were common, this framework provided layouts, themes, and components that allowed franchises to build custom sites without compromising brand consistency.
One of my favorite and earliest startups. With an amazing founder, The Not Wedding hosted elaborate fake weddings where vendors could showcase their skills in action. Before the company was sold, I helped build their online ticketing platform and more.
Before their acquisition in 2018, I worked with the Codeguard team to rebuild their rapidly growing website security application and improve the product’s user experience and design during a time when these aspects were becoming crucial.
A nonprofit in Atlanta, Georgia, helping men recover from addiction. I helped the organization build one of their early online presences and experimented with their subsidiaries, including their design studio.
Secure purchasing across open marketplaces where fraud can be an issue. I helped PayOnDelivery refine their purchasing flow during their early days. Making sure people felt secure during transactions.
I helped WorldClaim refine how their website supported their business during a time when many companies were still figuring out their online presence. I developed early touchpoints for the people they advocate for.
Radiation safety and health physics website. Not too much to say here but after 10+ years later, it is still being used by the company.
As a movie lover, building the website for this indie film house was a cool experience. Though the site is no longer live, a fun feature was the mini-platform game I built in the footer—imagine Mario running across your terms of service links.
Ever designed websites, posters, t-shirts, cups, police badges, and a bunch of other crazy stuff for an award-winning indie movie? I have.
An educational platform for kids aged 7–15 in Japan. As part of the then publicly traded Benesse Holdings, we launched a new educational app to complement their successful domestic education tools and services.
Before its parent company was acquired by Avast, I was responsible for bringing the CCleaner application—used by 100 million+ people to Windows 10.
In addition to CCleaner for Windows 10, I supported the Piriform team in launching a cloud version of their computer cleaning platform.
A major player in cybersecurity for the Fortune 500. I led the design of an early version of their online course marketplace.
Content curration platform for enterprise marketers. I was part of the team that helped redesign their content analysis and reporting tools.
The ambitious founders of Cognilab aimed to bring cognitive testing to a self-serve web platform. Although it didn’t work out, I’m proud to have worked on one of the most challenging products in my career.
A Canadian nonprofit in the education space. I led the initial redesign of their website.
A marketplace and social platform where musicians could share music, post updates, and sell merchandise. I designed the original concept, but it never moved forward. Good thing Spotify does all that today.
Developer founders are the best. Lee Hambley (Capistrano) and the Harrow team were making Continuous Integration better, and I contributed to their web platform.
Fun fact: In 2014, before Mt. Gox collapsed, I was part of the team rebuilding what was then the world’s largest Bitcoin exchange, handling 70% of all transactions. Makes for a fun dinner story!
One of the world’s largest software download websites. I contributed to refining various parts of File Hippo as the site evolved.
I led the initial redesign of Banger TV—your favorite place for all things metal.
Focused on developing multiple concepts for a crisis communication platform.
One of my earliest personal projects. Tally was a billing platform built around projects, developed with Backbone.js, a PHP backend, and a SQL database.
I joined Belgium-based PR software startup Prezly as their first product designer and co-product owner. Working closely with co-founder Gijs Nelissen, we laid the foundation for the platform’s future growth.
During my time at Prezly, I had the opportunity to work with Samsung’s European team to rethink their approach to press releases and media relationships.
Led the development of the DBRS Viewpoint Platform, delivering advanced tools for data analysis, reporting, and insights to support informed investment decisions.
Various different R&D projects working in hand with co-founder Zack Ruis. Tackling big data in finance and commerical real estate.
I joined this alternative credit manager to help with R&D and build internal applications to improve team performance and client services. Working closely with Sean Lensborn, we developed tools for bank reconciliations, portfolio management, trade simulations, PDF data extraction, ESG reporting, and more.
A quick note that the above is missing between 10-20 more projects that will be added soon. If I have missed a project we worked on together, send me an angry email.
